Resilience Revisited
Is there a best practice for dealing with challenges in life? Andrew Bernstein first asked this question as a teenager when his father and little sister died unexpectedly.
Determined to find answers, Andy spent years exploring many different processes, including three years working closely with self-help pioneer Byron Katie.
In 2004, Andy created a new 7-step process called Active Insight® to make breakthroughs easier. This process has since been embraced by thousands of leaders at dozens of Fortune 500 companies because it transforms challenges both at work and at home — from relationships to family conflict to team dynamics, discrimination, social issues, and much more — without stigma or “touchy-feeliness.”
Since 2007, Andy has taught regularly through Wharton Executive Education, where he has been a favorite of senior business leaders. He is the author of The Myth of Stress (retitled Breaking the Stress Cycle), and lives in New York City with his wife and two young kids.
The Resilience Academy makes Andy’s enlightening 7-step process and engaging teaching style available to individuals, families, and organizations around the world.
